Everyone! Listen up! I need some help...........
I'm in the middle of writing a story but I need some help. With my villain. So far he's an average, cookie cutter villain. I'm almost done with my plot at six thousand words! All because my antagonist does not have enough character development. What are some of your tips on creating an awesome villain? How do you create someone who's not going to bore your reader? How do you create a villain like Loki, where everyone and anyone can love him while at the same time hating him? PLEASE HELP!!!

Do any of you try to make new years resolutions? Yes, no, maybe so? Yeah, I've tried it before. It never quite turns out for me. Or for anyone. You can find pictures all over talking about how fast people break their resolutions. I mean seriously. People are never able to keep them. Maybe this year will be different for all those motivated people. Then again, maybe it won't.
So true.
Also, I'll try to post a Christmas post soon. Yes I know Christmas has already passed. I can still write about it though! XD

The Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies

So I watched the new hobbit. It was amazing. I didn't think it would be too great. I was wrong. It was amazing. There were a lot of mental and physical obstacles they had to overcome, making it more than just pure action and adventure. The plot was great. The characters were excellent . (So much character growth) they had a lot of fantastic elements. The scenery was remarkable. The orcs were way better than the previous hobbit movies. (They didn't look like cartoons). I thought they wrapped up the whole love triangle very well. It actually made the movie even better! This being the last movie of the Tolkien books was very sad. Although they ended it splendidly. It was so sad too. I am going crazy over this movie! If you haven't seen this movie yet....GO WATCH IT!!!!!

Why Frozen really Was So Great!

I want to tell you guys why Frozen really is so great. It honestly was an awesome movie. You may not think so, but hopefully I'll convince you to rethink that. So without further ado, why frozen really is so great!
The characters:
Olaf- he was a great character. Always optimistic and bubbly. I loved him. If you didn't then you have no heart. Sorry, it's true. He even 'melted' for Ana.
Ana- She was spunky, and again optimistic and bubbly. She was a very great character. Definitely the most real disney princess. (She was clumsy, she didn't wake up perfectly, she was forgetful, awkward, etc.)
Elsa- I really didn't like her very much, but she added a good elament to the story. Her ice was awesome and in the end she really loved her little sister.
Kristoff- He was a great character too. He had a pet reindeer! He also played music. :) He wasn't the classic Disney prince. In the beginning he was kind of grumpy but by the end of the movie he had sacrificed a lot for love. It wasn't just handed to him and I thought he was a really good character.
Hans- He was a good villain. He was deceptive and just dorky enough to be believable.
Sven- He's loyal and sweet and a really great sidekick.

The plot:
It was actually pretty good. They had the right elements to make a good story. I thought it was actually very good.

The Scenery:
I thought the setting of it was really good. It was set in Norway. The ice castle was amazing. It was so beautiful. Really, it was. The snowstorm at the end, when Elsa starts to get upset was very cool.

The music:
I loved most of the music, some of it was kind of funny, some of it was cool, some of it was just awesome, meaning the beginning song that they sing in norwegian. I love that one, I've memorized it all.

Now you might still be saying 'I still don't like it.' But you probably are saying that because it was so overdone. You saw it everywhere. At the store. Online. In your little brother's bedroom. Or maybe your expectations were really high and it didn't quite match those expectations. Whatever it was maybe it messed up your view of it. But it was actually a very good movie.
Thanks for the time,

Best Books Ever!

As a book addict I obviously love books and have spent a decent amount of time reading them. Here in this post is a list of some of the best books I have read. I have even included a couple of non-fiction books. So now I bring to you the Best Books Ever!

The Lord of the Rings:

One of the best works of literature ever. Even however many years from when the book was published they still have movies, video games, fanfiction, costumes, and many many other things. The gripping battle scenes. Gollumn, Samwise, Frodo, legolas, Aragorn, Gandalf, the villains. the ring, Tolkien wrote one of the best stories ever! It's worth reading all 999 pages of the story. Trust me, it is!

Divergent:

I loved the movie and decided to read the book. It was awesome! Also the author is a Christian. They have good action scenes and great (but not too extremely long) descriptions. Although there is a sentence or two that you may end up having to skip. There was a romance element but it was tollerable. Great book!

Swipe series:

A series about the end times. It's a very interesting series. it's very creative. I highly recommend it!

The Door Within series:

These books are a great allegory about the spiritual battle. They take an awesome fantazy approach. It's all knights and dragons type of thing. I really enjoyed these books. Like a lot.

The mysterious benedict society:

Thank you Newtons for getting me hooked on this series. it's one of my favorites. the quirk mysteries. Oh you guys better read this book, it's awesome!

Nancy Drew Mysteries!
It's a classic series. I really enjoyed these.

If you're really into romance kinda thing I would suggest:
Life of faith girls series, It's like american girl only christian and the books are a bit better written. And for a bit more mature audiences.

The fairest beauty:

Another series. These are Christian teen romance novels. These stories also have some action in them. I actually enjoyed these ones.

Now. Nonfiction.

The Bible! Although I think you all already know what book that is! It's the best of them all!

I kissed dating goodbye, it's a good book on purity. I would recommend it for everyone.

Do Hard Things, it's a good inspirational book. Also recommend this one for everyone.

7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, Another good one.

Thanks guys! Hope you enjoyed this list and maybe found some new books to read.

Wordy Ramblings of a Book Addict

What is it about books that can just capture a reader? I've been thinking a lot about my favorite books as I've been working on my own novel. What makes them so likeable and compelling? Why have people always enjoyed reading? I think we all can come up with our own answer. Why do you enjoy reading? Now some of you may be saying "I don't like reading." Well then this blog post is not for you. Anyways, the reason I, and probably a lot of other people, love reading because of a books ability to transport you to a different place and time. You can have a whole adventure without ever leaving your couch. You can experience a different life. The hardships and happiness that others can experience. Even though books are just words on paper you make them something so much more. You give them their value. Because you read them. Their are things about books that are so amazing and beautiful. I think the endings of books are important. That's your final note. The feeling you're left with long after you set down the pages. Books can change you. The writer has a couple hundred pages to convince you of something that they believe. You discover things in books. When you read you're seeing more than words. The printed ink can do so much more than create a story. It can give you hope, happiness, love, peace. It can make you smile or frown or sometimes cry your way to dehydration.(<That's actually happened to me before.) It can give you strength or help you get through hard times. I think books are as close to magic as you can get. You can do things you never could before. Even if only in your mind. Reading is like a dream. The impossible becomes possible when you read a book.I don't know why books affect people in this way. I don't know why reading books give me the inspiration to do things I never could before. If you have an explanation for this please tell me why this happens, because I honestly have no clue.
People who write have power over those who read. Don't abuse that power. You could change someone's life with your words.
I may end up writing more on the topics of books and writing so I would really appreciate feedback on this post.
Keep reading, writing and being,
Randomly Brainy.

No more masks!

Who am I?
Good question.
Sometimes we question why we're even here or why we lead the life we do. Sometimes we think we aren't doing anything that even matters. Or sometimes we don't even realize it; but we don't show who we are. Have any of your friends seen you at your worst? Or even heard about it? Probably not. Have you even seen yourself at your worst? I mean are you being real with yourself and  accepting the fact that at some point you weren't perfect?
You probably are wearing a mask half, or more, of the time. Maybe when you're around some friends you act weird and be yourself or maybe ou try to fit in with them. Maybe at church you act extra biblical, quoting scripture and carrying a bible around. Maybe at work you act responsible. Around your friend's parents you act mature. These are all examples of you not being real. We need to take our mask off. Show people who we really are. I recently got an iPhone (to use as an MP3 player but that's really not important. ) and I got it for free because it has cracks on it. Anyways it came with a protective case. A shield. With that on you can't hear the music as well or take good pictures or anything. It's all a lesser quality. When you take that case off it reveals the cracks and imperfections showing what the iPhone is and making it vulnerable to breakage and things like that. But it functions so much better! We need to be like that. We need to take off our protective layer and be vulnerable. Tell people about our mistakes and faults. Our 'cracks' and that can take so much guilt and worry off of us. It relieves our burdens.
Who am I?
Well that's all your decision. You are who you make yourself to be.
Find someone you can be completely vulnerable and real with. Tell them who you are. Because they will love you even with your cracks.
You guys are all awesome inside and out!

To Expect or not to Expect, That is the Question.

So true.
I went on a retreat with my youth group this past weekend and it was amazing. But we talked a bit about expectations and I thought it was very very interesting. Why do we always have expectations for things? You expect more things than you realize. You expect to live to tomorrow. You expect your parents to feed you. You expect the internet to work. You expect Christmas to come on December 25th. You expect the sun to come up in the morning. You expect water to come out of the tap. You expe--- nevermind, you get the idea. Okay..... Now: Are those expectations always met? Probably, those are pretty common ones. But what about a movie you recently watched? Maybe it wasn't what you expected at all. Maybe it was better. Maybe it was worse, but it probably didn't match your expectations exactly. So, should you have set your expectations lower? Maybe that would solve the problem. But what if we had no expectations? That was the question our youth pastor asked us (well maybe not those exact words but you get the picture) We all answered with 'You need expectations. If you jump off a building you need to expect something really bad to happen.' (again, not those exact words but we used examples like that) But those weren't exactly correct examples that's more of a healthy fear kinda thing. But expectations mean you need it to be what you expect. You NEED to get your schoolwork done. But what if you WANT to get it done instead. Wanting instead of needing relieves the stress that you're putting on yourself. You only need a few things in life. Food, water, shelter, an education, etc. But then you have things you want. Even on those levels. Maybe you want a gourmet meal every day. Maybe you want a mansion. Maybe you want to make it to Yale or Harvord or some top-notch college. You expect it. You don't need it. And if you let go of the thought that you deserve or need (expect) these things in life, and realize that if you don't have these things then you WILL be okay you can live a bit more stress-free. Now if you were at the retreat correct me if that's not what our youth pastor meant but that's what it translated as for me. I hope you enjoyed this blog post!

Bloggers Award Nomination

So, my awesome friend Liddy, or Elisabeth, (I like nicknames!) nominated me for the Best Blogging Buddy Award. How it work is:
-You make a post to show off your awesomeness. As well as your award.
-Tag your blogging buddy who nominated you.
-Nominate all of your best buddies, as well as non-best buddies who you want to become best buddies with. Make sense?
-Ask those buddies mentioned earlier at least 15 questions on your post.
-Answer all of the questions your buddies ask you. On your post. This post. Only yours. Get it, got it, good?
Thanks Liddy! I'm very honored by the honor which you have honored me with. ;)
  Here goes:
1) Favorite little kid’s book?
I'm not entirely sure. I remember one that was called 'I love my daddy' that I really liked. I read it cover to cover probably every night. I also loved some sort of goodnight book. I forgot what it was called though.
 2) Favorite mid-elementary book?
I've always adored books. I really enjoyed the Nancy Drew series though. As well as 'Life of Faith' books. I also liked the Mandie series.
3) Night owl or morning person?
Probably a night owl. But I still can't stay up past probably 10-ish without going completely bonkers! Although I cant get up before around 7:30.
4) Do you like being that way (referencing the above question)?
Not really. I used to be a morning person and that worked better.
5) Plays or musicals?
It depends on the play or musical.
6) Favorite secular Christmas song and favorite Christian Christmas song?
You're seriously making me choose!? I love almost all of them! But I really like this one,>>>>>> I know, they look really weird! But they're really funny. I would recommend a lot of their songs if you need a laugh'
it's cheesy and funny while being Christmasy.
7) If you could choose what your dying words will be, what would you pick?
Well, it really depends on who I'm with and the situation. I really hope I can come up with some really amazing speech.
8) Which do you think is more important: justice or mercy?
They're both important, you need a good balance of both.
9) Why to the above?
Justice is not for us to serve out. Yes, you need to punish a criminal for his crimes but you don't need to punish your brother for touching your stuff.
10) Book and/or movie that’s going to come out that you’re excited for?
Avengers 2!!! (What's with the whole strings thing? And Cap's broken sheild! AHHHHHHH!!!) I am a Marvel fanatic, so any of those movies! I'm also excited for Divergent 2 (I forgot it's actual name, sorry.)
11) If you could pick a fantasy weapon someone’s already invented (i.e., lightsabers, the Ring, Shardblades, etc.), what would it be?
Probably a sonic screwdriver. It's not great for defense but I'd love to scare my brothers by changing the channel on the TV or something. Mwahahahaha!
12) Frodo or Sam?  (If you don’t know whom I’m talking about, first, shame on you, and second, just list a favorite book character of yours.)
What kind of question is this!? It should be obvious! SAM! I gave my mom a whole speech on why Samwise and Rory(From DW) are so under appreciated. They're so loyal and caring and just AWESOME!
13) What do you like to snack on, or do you not snack at all?
I don't really snack much but I love chips, and fruit, and Nutella! And PIZZA although that's not exactly a snack.
14) Three words that people often use to describe you?

I asked my mom and Barrett and they came up with this.> Happy thrifty creative funny and bossy. I've also been described as spunky and weird.
15) What did you want to be when you were little?
I've always wanted to be a writer, and a baker.
16) What question would you liked to be asked, and what is your answer?
Favorite movie, I guess. (<It took a while to come up with that question.) I love so many movies it's really hard to pick one. But right now it's probably Amazing Spiderman 2, This movie is so awesome! It's got action but it's not just pure action there are some other kinds of scenes too. I really don't know how to explain it. If you haven't seen it just watch it! I also love ELF (for the holidays) It's so extremely funny! Go watch it! Right now!>>>>>>>
I also love despicable me 2 and the Lego movie. Plus so many others (LOTR, Divergent, Mom's Night Out, etc.)
17) If you could go to lunch to meet a person from history, who would it be?
Jesus!

My nominees are: Emma D. and Ruth-Anna.

I'm giving you these same questions but I'm adding a few:
 Favorite music?
Dream vacation?
Favorite thing to do?

Holidays.

So Samuel (my 2 yr. old bro) has a little book that has some sort of recording device built in so that you don't have to actually read it to him. He just sits there flipping the pages and pressing the buttons and you don't have to read it! I love that book.
                         ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry that I rarely post. I'm hoping it gets better. Sometimes I just can't think of anything to say.
                                                             ------------------------
Christmas. I love Christmas. It's awesome! I love Christmas music too. I listen to it all year long. I love watching Christmas movies. I was even thinking of being a Christmas 'elf'' (from LOTR) through the month of december. I don't know how that would turn out though...... I may reconsider that idea. I know some people are mad that there's already Christmas music on the radio but I'm happy about that. Although when they just completely skip over Thanksgiving it's kinda sad. Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday: Eating too much of Grandma's pumpkin pie (or Whipped cream in my case. That stuff's awesome!) And your Aunt's green bean casserole. Or seeing all the pilgrim-turkey man decorations. It's a beautiful thing....JK  We need to thank God. We have a holiday for it! Don't skip that. Thank the Lord!

MUSIC

I realize that I've been really bad at consistently posting. But I think that's okay. We all have busy lives and we all have priorities (Sorry but the newest episode of DW couldn't wait......JK) My brothers are really weird. Liddy,(and the other newtons) experienced that on the way home from enrichment classes. Anywhooooo, You know what my favorite part of these posts are? Showing you guys all the awesome pictures that I've collected. I really don't know where I'm goin' with this blog post, just wait. It'll come to me...... Yeah, I got nothin'. Oh wait! I've got a novel idea! Music! I will discuss music!
              ----------------------------------------------------------------------<<That's a long line. ;)
I love music. I'm sure all of you do too. How could you not? it's great! We came up with an awesome song arrangement today. It was really cool. After a lot of experimenting noise. I was just a vocalist though, so I can't really say anything. I wish I could play an instrument. I have instruments but it's just hard to learn. You see, unlike some amazing awesomnessly awesome people I can't learn too well just from watching YouTube videos. I need someone to teach me. But I don't know if that will happen, maybe one day I'll bring my guitar to Thursday classes and on of those amazing awesomnessly awesome people will be willing to teach me. But until then, I have to try my best using YouTube. I really love listening to music too. My favorite songs are the ones that tell a story. Like Johnny cash! Only not. Don't get me wrong....I got nothin' against him. I just don't enjoy his music for some reason, well that's not entirely true. I like a couple of his songs. I can't stand hard rock, note that I said HARD rock. I think some classic rock is fun to listen to (In moderation, you can only handle so much 'back in black')

but hard rock-headbanger kinda stuff is just awful to listen to. I'm not much of a fan of rap either. I like a couple of Christian rap songs. Again, note that I said a couple, meaning, like, two, maybe three. And now we'll go back to the music I like. Have you heard of Rend Collective? They're an Irish Christian band, I like them a lot! I also like the classic......Coldplay. I've currently enjoyed some Monsters and Men stuff. And Christmas songs too! I like a lot of music. As long as it's clean and good (NO Barny songs. Yes they're clean, But they're not good!), I'll listen to it. I even like veggie tales songs. Or parodys. Those are fun. What kind of music do you like? I always love new suggestions.
Always

Sooooo tech-savvy

I'm not a tech-savvy kinda person. The other day I accidentally pressed a button that made the wifi on my computer turn off and it took me two days to figure out how to turn it back on. (And Barrett actually told me how.)  Then it took me two days to figure out how to download all my 1700 pictures from my camera onto my computer. Now I can't figure out how to take pictures with my webcam. Yeah, I know it's sad. Anyways I just wanted to put some pictures on here. They're very very random.

Poetic.........fails. Oh and Pizza! Can't forget about that.

I like making devious plans, it's pretty fun.
I also like listening to music, I've seriously been listening to it nonstop for two days.
I can't multitask. In writing critique the other day I was reading my story and apparently put someone's last name as Parker because I was talking to my brothers about spiderman.
I want pizza.
I really do.
Like right now.
I've been deprived of pizza for like a whole day!
I'm the pizza angel.
I NEED pizza.
Wait! Oh sorry. That was weird. Or normal. It depends on if you know me or not. Obviously you guys all know me, or you wouldn't be reading this. Anywaysssssssss
I want to share a poem with you guys....It's super serious.

Bring it on winter, we're ready for you.
Don't be shy, you can bring your snow too.

Come on, we're all mountain dorks here.
We always keep out our cool snow gear.

Winter, we're waiting
and anticipating,

The return of the snow.
It's been 3 months, it's time to go.

Come on snow--- actually you know what. Just stay where you are until Christmas.

and that........was not as cool as I thought. Oh well. Better luck next time.

I'll just go be Randomly Brainy somewhere else now.

Me? Weird? Thank you so much!!!!! -- My friends? Weird? Hellloooooo that's why they're my friends!

I discovered that I really like nerdy kinda things. So I suppose that makes me a nerd. I don't see what else it would make me. After all. I do have glasses (which are about as nerdy as you can get ;)
Today when we were watching Doctor Who I was yelling at the TV. People's stupidity in movies drives me absolutely crazy. (I have to hold it back in the movie theater)
I also just start randomly talking like i'm from a TV show. That probably drives other people crazy. Along with some of my other habits (like playing the cup song without any cups or clicking magnetic rocks together for hours on end.Or singing and playing the same random song over and over and over or quoting some character from a book or Marvel or BBC and occasionally veggie tales or something of that nature) Who else has these quirks? Probably none of you. Ya know. I could've made that list so much longer.
I think I have mild short term memory loss.
I'm kinda really clumsy, I've literally tripped over air before. I'm not joking.
Today in writing critique I had to apologize for my writing ahead of time. I said 'I wrote this in the morning and at night so if it's weird, well, get over it. (Although then I realized how weird writing can be.)
Sorry. Just had to explain my weirdness.
                                           ---------------------------------------------
I have some really great friends. Ya know, some people just sit on phones and such and don't even talk to other people. What's that all about? I mean seriously, you could take over the world by sending everyone a text. (Don't get any ideas) Oh wait, getting of topic. Did I put that on the list? Wait! Ah yes, there's my mind again. I kinda lost it. I like how my friends will actually engage with me rather than send me a text saying 'wt do u want 2 do' (I hate when people's grammar is off. Which is Ironic considering I use made up words like yeporooni) I love how my friends never got too old to have an imagination. I love how i'm also friends with their older siblings and they don't look at me as an immature freshman (I hope.) I love how they are all nerds with me! I could list so much more I love about them, but for your sake i'll keep my posts pretty short ;)
Keep bein' Randomly Brainy!

I finally realized that and I think it's for the better.

This is like the best quote plus it's from DW (you can't deny the awesomeness!)

Technology

Sorry for not posting very often. Life is busy. I got reading out of the way though. 950 pages done in four days. Oh and also an essay type thingamadoodad. Also, I am getting a laptop! Which means.....more posts! Now I'm not sure whether more posts is a good thing or a bad thing but I'll tell you when I find out. I've discovered that I need a job. Not a babysitting job. A real one. Anywayssss.............

Have you noticed how homeschoolers and technology are 'treated' (from a person who doesn't homeschool point of view. If that makes sense)  If you homeschool and own a computer then you must be completely obsessed with technology in a nerdy way. You spend your time programming every computer in the house to talk to you in a robot monkey voice and remind you of your 5 O' clock meeting with apple on how you could completely revolutionize the iPad 5. Or your family doesn't even own a computer. You've never even seen one before in your life. Somehow there's no inbetween (I don't know why)

So there's my little rant about how people can completely read homeschoolers wrong.Well most homeschoolers (I know some people who would be classified under the first stereotype.) One thing we do love is music though! They've probably got at least that right. :)

Just ya know......Bein randomly Brainy ;)

I just love how people don't really mean what they say and always leave you guessing. It's quite hard you know, I've spent many hours of many days pondering the questions that life throws me. Does anyone else have that problem?
                                                              -----------------------

I am so excited for enrivhment classes to start! Although I have so much reading. I realised I'll have to read a couple hundred pages a day until Thursday to get it all done. I wouldn't mind so much except for the fact that everything seems to be happening this week.
I've started writing my book for OYAN and then I discovered Elisabeth's book (it's amazing so far!) and she wrote from the point of veiw of a house and I thought that would be the best way to go since (SPOILERS) My main character is probably going to die at the end of the book.
  Anyways! I have to go.

CAUTION, WARNING, STOP, ETC.

Did anyone watch the new Doctor Who episode? (The premier of season 8) If you did then you can feel my pain and disgust of my favorite tv show doing something as horrific as what they decided to put in that episode. If you didn't watch it then I envy you. You're entire view of doctor who was not completely ruined. I thought it was going to be awesome. I was soooo excited and then BOOM it came on and right away it was the opposite of what I thought it'd be. Do. Not. Watch. It. Whatever people tell you, don't watch it! It was so disappointing. Although the new Doctor is much better than I thought he'd be.

PS Sorry this post was so short but I just had to tell you guys.
My reaction to the premier of season 8.

I just love weekends.

I had a fun weekend. I did a flash mob at the farmer's market. (A flash mob is where a ton of people just randomly start dancing at a public place, it's usually a choreographed dance. ) Then I went to an awesome writing critique meeting that the awesome Newtons put together. Thanks guys! It was a ton of fun! I think that it was probably 50 percent laughing.
Yesterday I had an awesome time at a back to school party with my youth group and then today I went to the penny arcade with my family. It has definitely been a great way to kick off the new school year!
Hope you had (and have) a good week!

Back To School!?

Hello! Sorry about not posting at all for almost three weeks. Life's been busy. I can't believe it's almost the start of school! This summer went by fast! :/ I'm kind of sad. Although on the bright side I'll see my friends more often. I honestly don't mind school, it can be fun. I'm really excited for British Lit. that will be fun. I'm also excited for OYAN! Although I can't register online yet, apparently since we ordered it used we aren't able to use the serial code. It's a bummer. I'm not very happy about Algebra and Science, because they definitely aren't my strong subjects. I'm so extremely happy for Enrichment Classes to start. Anyone else? What are you excited for?

The Homeschool Dance!

Hellooooo everybodyyyyyy. Life has been kind of crazy. I went to the fourth annual homeschool dance. It's always so much fun. I ran around traumatizing people by taking pictures until someone soniced my camera, which made the batteries finally die. Then I stood outside wishing I could take pictures. Emily still got some good ones though. :) I was finally convinced to go inside (after admiring a sunset and stepping in the mud) Sorry that this post is so short.

PS here are some pictures from the dance.

My brothers and their friends. Hannah D took the picture.

My wonderful friends. Not quite sure who took this picture.

I decided to post this picture since I'm partially in it. Probably the only one. Hehe....just figured I should post it. Credit to Emily for the picture.

Everyone Needs Compassion

My feet hurt....really bad. But for a good reason. I was helping out at The Compassion Experience for six hours. The Compassion Experience is where you go into this tent and they have a ton of iPods with three different recordings on them, you choose which recording you want. Which child's life you want to experience. You walk up the stairs and into a room as the child starts speaking. You're standing in their house. Then you continue on through their life. The different places that influenced them.  These kids wouldn't have been able to finish school and go to college, their lives would've been awful if it wasn't for their compassion sponsors. All I did was reset the recordings and clean headphones, but so many people went out of there with a child that they wanted to sponsor. Those children's lives will change for the better all because those people experienced something. Now I'm not saying that you have to change these children's lives by sending them money. I understand that most people aren't able to work it into their budget. But you could also volunteer at an event. Give your time. Some people aren't able to do that either. So........pray. Pray for these children. Because Jesus answers prayer.

If you would like to sponsor a child or find out more about their events go to:  http://www.compassion.com/

Homeschoolers, stereotypes, and more!

Hellooooo everybody!!! Meaning Elisabeth. Haha. Anywho, I just feel like talking about some problems of a homeschooler. First up..... socialization. What is it with people and thinking homeschoolers are completely unsocialized? I mean just because we do school at our house doesn't mean we have no friends. Also, boyfriends and girlfriends. Why? Why do you need a boyfriend or girlfriend to be accepted into society as a normal person. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend is a very bad idea. Bethany Hamilton puts it very well: imagine that you and your BF/GF are two pieces of paper each time you hold hands or hug, kiss, etc. etc. you are stapled together, then you break up, and you are torn apart. It leaves major holes, rips and even pieces of the other paper. BAD IDEA! Especially at young ages. Wait. Where was I? Ahh yes the homeschooler's problems..... another stereotypical assumption is that all homeschoolers are nerdy goody goodies who all wear suits and ties everywhere and quote random textbook notes through their braces while looking down on you because you aren't as smart as them through their giant grandpa glasses. NOT TRUE! Yes, I know many homeschoolers who are very advanced, and I also know public schoolers who are advanced as well. I also have glasses and know many others with glasses and braces. But I know people who aren't homeschoolers with those too.  Stereotypes aren't fair. So stop using them! Okay. I'm done. Now you can escape my jumbled up scatterbrained post.

Aloha! (Greetings in other languages are more fun.) Well it's been a while. (Very sorry about that.) So my month has been quite very extremely busy. I went to sports camp. Which is always quite fun. For those of you who do not know what it is......well.......it's a sports camp. Yep. That's my definition. I also went to an amusement park. The rides are extremely fun. The lines.....not so much. As for the people there: they lost their senses! The girls are quite immodest. Everyone is cussing. It's all about image rather than enjoying yourself on the rides. Ugh! Anywayssss. I'm very very very excited because......guess what! Come on. Guess. Okay. Fine. I'll tell you. My birthday is in exactly a week!!!!!! Yayyyy!!! :) Haha. Now, after reading this post you know why I titled this blog 'randomly brainy'

Hello all you two people who will read this.
I'm Arielle. This is my blog. Okay now that we have introductions out of the way, I'll tell you a little bit about the title. Randomly Brainy. Weird right. Random- Well, I am very weird (in a good way) and random. So that explains that. Brainy- welllllllll I don't know. That's for you to find out. So yes I know this is not a very good blog post. It's not well thought out. It's not well written, but as I have better things to write about the posts will get better too. So just hang in there.
Your friend,
Randomly Brainy
